Evolving Path

Email From God

When we visited my parents for Christmas, I saw this “email from God” on the fridge.
I should have a copy on my fridge, so I got a quick shot of it. Then I thought, God helps those who help themselves, a value instilled in me early on. My path toward understanding how to put things in God’s hands is always evolving at my home, and in relationships at work. On an emotional level, this year, I hope to gain more emotional intelligence.

I saw this quote today, and it immediately resonated with me.

“I have not always chosen the safest path. I’ve made my mistakes, plenty of them. I sometimes jump too soon and fail to appreciate the consequences. But I’ve learned something important along the way: I’ve learned to heed the call of my heart. I’ve learned that the safest path is not always the best path and I’ve learned that the voice of fear is not always to be trusted.”
